I hope you guys aren’t getting sick of houndstooth because I don’t think I ever could! Apparently I’m not the only one either, as I have had several requests for a houndstooth hat pattern after releasing my houndstooth accessories pattern. I already have one tester for the teen/adult size (chosen for requesting this pattern), but I am still looking for several more. Guidelines for Pattern Testing
It is really important to me that my patterns are clear and easy-to-follow with no mistakes. I have had some really great testers who have put a lot of effort and attention to detail into the testing process. I always appreciate their efforts to help me produce the best patterns possible!
I know there are lots of people who would like to test and I want to give everyone the opportunity. I will be choosing testers at random from the comments below on Monday, January 23rd at noon EST. All testers will need to return pictures and notes/corrections by email to me by 7pm EST on Thursday, January 26th. Pictures will only be for me to see how your projects turned out and how it fits; pictures will not be shared in any way. If you cannot complete the project in the time allotted, please do not sign up. There will be more opportunities in the future to test and win free patterns.
Testers who return their pictures and notes in the given time frame will receive a free copy of the final pattern they tested, as well as a coupon code for 50% off any current or future pattern of their choice. If I do not hear back from you, you will be ineligible to test in the future.
If you are interested in testing, please leave one comment below indicating your preference of sizes to test. You are welcome to list as many sizes as you are able to have “modeled” for the picture you send to me (again, I will not post or share your pictures!). I will choose two testers for each size, so please be sure to list your size preferences in order starting with your first choice all in one comment.

Id love to test this item! I live here in Bama and support a high school who practically mimics Bama (championship and all) so it seems houndstooth almost runs in my blood, lol. I’ve been waiting for someone to come up with something like this and the picture looks great!

Hi, I would love the opportunity to test this pattern. I am a mum of 6 boys aged 2(this week) to almost 15. It is great to see a pattern that my older boys would like and wear. I could make up any of the sizes required for you, as I do have some very handsome models to use!

Hello! I’m so excited for the chance to test for you. I just recently discovered your designs and testing is my favorite thing to do (you can often find me involved on Free Pattern Testers on Ravelry where I’m just finishing up a hat). I’m not quite sure what to tell you about sizing as my boys all have huge heads! So if you don’t mind a 4 year old modeling the teen size, etc – then I can help.
11 month old – 19″ (so maybe the child size?)
4 year old – 20-21″ (teen?)
hubby – 25″ (will adult size be large enough?)

Hi, I would love to test! I’m a beginner but I learn VERY fast! 🙂 I just got a full set of hooks that I am dying to try out! I have a 2yr old and 6yr old (who are both about to turn 3 and 7 in April) and I’m also currently pregnant and due Mid March! 🙂 I could try toddler and up 🙂 would love to at least try for you! That way you can show that even beginners could do it! 🙂 If not chosen for this test, I would love to be considered for any future testing!

HI! I forgot all about you mentioning this on your fb page! I am glad I looked because I made your hounds tooth gloves for my sissy for christmas. I was kinda disappointed I couldn’t find a pattern for a hat. Maybe I could have figured it out…but It was too crazy to figure it out. I would love to do it in any size.
I can test any size, but a smaller size will go more quickly!! If I don’t have the right size live person to be a model, I do have styrofoam in practically all sizes to give you good close-ups of the finished hat!
