Pattern Giveaway Day 6: Breezy Newsboy Beanie – CLOSED

Thanks again to everyone for participating in my 10-day pattern giveaway! I’ve been having fun reading your comments, and I really appreciate you being facebook fans and sharing the link with your friends. It seems the votes were pretty much split between earflaps up or down on the ladybug hat from yesterday’s post, and that is the fun part of the hat – you can wear it either way. Congrats to the winners!

The prize for today’s giveaway is the Breezy Newsboy Beanie Pattern. This is a great hat for the spring and summer months when you want to keep the sun out of your eyes and off your head, but you don’t want to be too warm. The pattern includes instructions to complete the hat with or without the newsboy brim and contains five sizes to fit everyone.

    I crochet hundreds of hats a year but I rarely wear a hat even in the winter time!

    And, I dont usually wear hats. in the winter I do some. But I do wear the headbands I make. I make my kids wear the hats I make!! =o)

    I don’t but on one of the hottest days here in Ontario both my kids wanted to where their crochet hats to the mall….so I let them and they pretended they were a dino and an owl the entire time….had a blast!!!

    I usually don’t wear hats in the spring or summer, but Texas weather sometimes limit my time even wearing them during the winter months. 🙁
